EzNAS XW Series

Celeros XW Series combines Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 OS (latest file and print serving OS from Microsoft) with high performance SAS/SATA storage platforms from Celeros in a single package.

EzNAS XW Series is designed for dependability and seamless integration, and presents the best value in networked storage. While Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 integrates with existing infrastructures and supports heterogeneous file serving as well as backup and replication of stored data, Celeros hardware appliances provide reliability and performance required in demanding environments.

EzNAS XW Series is a cost effective and flexible solution that can serve file, print and Exchange Server 2003. As a NAS gateway to SAN, it provides access to a virtually unlimited amount of storage. Scaling the storage capacity is now as easy as adding more Celeros iSCSI appliances.

File, Print and Storage Serving

Deploy a dedicated file and print server with a built-in IP SAN to address your growing storage requirements. Data protection features and support for multiple file protocols as well as a variety of iSCSI initiators make XW Series the ideal solution for heterogeneous file and storage serving.

Multiple Snapshots Fast data recovery

Restores deleted or corrupted files within minutes using Shadow Copy of Shared Folders. This application built on Volume Shadow Copy Service can store up to 64 point-in-time copies per volume and provides the ability for end users to recover files or folders in minutes.

Single Instance Storage (SIS)

This feature helps organizations reduce storage needs for file servers by identifying duplicate files within hard disk volumes and providing an efficient mechanism for consolidating them.

Exchange Support

Deploy file, print, and Exchange Server 2003 data onto easy to managed, reliable NAS appliance that provide good performance and low operating cost.

Network Interface load balancing and Fault Tolerance

Adaptive Load Balancing enhances data throughput by automatically routing data through all platforms dual gigabit Ethernet paths. Additionally, network interface fault tolerance assures greater reliability by providing a secondary network path, which automatically takes over if the primary network interface fails.

Backup, Restore, and Replication

Benefit from the rapid restoration of stored data. Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 can be used for backup of multiple production servers without taking them offline. Third-party solutions from industry partners can help to ensure high data availability through replication across multiple sites.

UPS Support

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) eliminates the effects of a temporary power outage and provides safe shutdown without loss of data in case of a power failure. The UPS device can be connected by a serial cable to the appliance.
